Well what a missed opportunity.

Well what a missed opportunity. The only things in the budget for the SME sector is a Credit Refusal Review Scheme (Probably will be staffed by the laid off Anglo WBankers), so that will really get the credit flowing.

And to really kick us in the nuts they introduce a Carbon Tax of 4.9c per liter of diesel . No mention of ring fencing this tax to put in place a proper Rural Transport System now that everyone is forced to live 50 miles form their work, if they do have a job and now won’t be able to afford to run a car (a necessity, not a luxury, if you live outside the Pale) if they are unemployed. Not to mention the extra costs it will impose on already hard pressed businesses.

This really is the Life of Brian (either one, take your pick);

Life’s a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life’s a laugh and death’s a joke, it’s true.
You’ll see it’s all a show
Keep ‘em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
