Just received another scam email from info@worldcompanydirectory.com with the subject “Registration of the World Company Directory 2009/2010“.
DO NOT RESPOND to emails like this it is a SCAM

Yes indeed this is a very common email and unfortunately many companies in ireland have been caught out and actaully paid. We talked about this before as you can see on this link

Thanks for that Dave, It seem that the scammers, phishers and other Internet users with criminal intent are one of the few groups that are booming in these recession times.
If you get any unusual emails that you are not expecting, just delete them. For more advice on these and other security risks talk to your IT Provider, Email Provider or Website Provider.

No problem Spencer. I get really annoyed when I see small businesses being taken advantage of in these tough times. Spread the word, talk to your friends and make sure they don’t get taken in either.
